Nov. 23 (UPI) — Television personality John O’Hurley and expert analyst David Frei are set to co-host Thursday’s National Dog Show on NBC after the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

O’Hurley and Frei have presided over the event since it began airing on the network in 2002.

“Over 2,100 dogs encompassing 191 breeds vie for Best in Show honors in the tradition-rich Kennel Club of Philadelphia competition,” a press release said. “Mary Carillo will report from the backstage benching area as the dogs prepare to compete and former Olympic figure skaters Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski will also lend their distinctive presence as digital contributors.”

Greyhound Gia won Best in Show at last year’s competition.
