Young child struck, fatally injured Monday morning in crash on Morningstar Road
VALLEY CENTER, CA, (November 04, 2024) - A 1-year-old child tragically died Monday morning when he was struck by a hit-and-run motorist in Valley Center.
1-year-old Adriel Garcia was fatally injured Monday morning when he was struck by a hit-and-run motorist along Morningstar Road in Valley Center.
According to the San Diego County Department of the Medical Examiner, 1-year-old Adriel Estevan Garcia, was hit by a vehicle along Morningstar Road at approximately 8:30 a.m.
Adriel was rushed to Rady Children's Hospital where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
The driver involved fled the scene and remains at large.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the incident.
FATAL ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
