October 28 collision happened along Main Street
RAMONA, CA, (October 28, 2024) - Laura Sue Glazewski, age 60, of Ramona, was tragically killed in a car accident on the evening of Oct. 28. The collision occurred on the 2300 block of Main Street in Ramona at approximately 7:31 p.m.

According to reports, a Chevrolet pickup truck traveling northbound on Main Street collided with the rear of a Dodge SUV before swerving into the southbound lanes. The Chevrolet then struck a Toyota sedan head-on, driven by Glazewski. Emergency services were promptly called to the scene, with law enforcement and fire personnel responding.
Paramedics extricated Glazewski from her vehicle and provided lifesaving measures as she was transported by ambulance to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. Despite their efforts, Glazewski succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 9:10 p.m. at the medical center. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma of the torso.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. The community of Ramona mourns the loss of Laura Sue Glazewski and extends heartfelt condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.
