Patrick Cronk dies days after Canadian County motorcycle crash

Tragic Sept. 18 collision happened along Interstate 40

EL RENO, OK, (September 22, 2024) - A tragic accident occurred on Interstate 40 near El Reno, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The incident took place at around 5:25 p.m. on Sept. 18, near milepost 122.

Police Lights Patrick Cronk Patrick Cronk succumbed to injuries at the hospital, days after a motorcycle crash involving two tractor-trailers in Canadian County.

The victim has been identified as Patrick Cronk, a 51-year-old resident who was riding a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle at the time of the collision.

The crash involved two tractor-trailers, one of which was unoccupied. The driver of the other truck escaped without injuries.

Emergency services responded promptly, and Cronk was airlifted by Air Evac to OU Health Center in Oklahoma City. Despite the medical team's efforts, he was pronounced dead four days after the crash.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and the specific details surrounding the collision. Further information will be released as the investigation progresses.

CRASH INVESTIGATION
