TBS’ late night show host Samantha Bee issued an apology on Thursday after a segment on her show mocked a brain cancer patient’s haircut and likened it to a ‘Nazi hair’.
The clip on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee features several men who was being described by the voice over of producer Mike Rubens saying that they have ‘Nazi Hair’ during last month’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
However, one of the men in the segment was Kyle Coddington. Which according to her sister Megan, is suffering from ‘stage 4 brain cancer’

A GoFundMe page that was set up in December indicates that Coddington has been diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma, which is an aggressive form of brain cancer. Kyle’s doctors say that his condition may be incurable, but it is not in itself a death sentence. Also the fighting spirit of Kyle is very much alive as he believes that “God is still in the miracle-making business.”
Kyle said: “I’m putting complete trust in God and I know regardless of the outcome, I’ll be healed one way or another!”
After hearing of the condition, Full Frontal issued an apology and said that they have removed him from the piece.
We deeply apologize for offending @_that_kyle in our CPAC segment. We only learned of his condition today & have removed him from the piece.

Samantha Bee also apologized to Kyle and his sister whose tweet about the segment being oppressive to her brother has been shared and retweeted thousands of times.
In a statement released by Kyle Coddington that was published late Thursday night, he said: “I want to make it clear that half-apologizing for offending someone is not apologizing for making baseless accusations against people because of the way they look. This kind of behavior should be rejected by both sides of the aisle.”

Kyle also said that he was overwhelmed by the support that he has received from the incident and even thanked the show Full Frontal for donating to his GoFundMe page.
