Suspects stabbed six persons near Tremont Street in Boston’s Theater District Sunday morning. However, police reports indicate that one of the suspects is currently at large. Police has in custody a second suspect.

Boston Police Superintendent Bernard O’Rourke pointed out that the suspect has fled in the direction of Charles Street.

According to police, a number of the victims suffered knife wounds, while some of them from a broken bottle. The incident happened at around 2AM and Police arrived on the scene 15 minutes after a caller reported the attack. The area is abuzz with bars and clubs that close at 2AM.

Reports indicate, that 1 victim out of the 6 was critically injured and taken to emergency surgery. Details as to the condition of the other injured people is not yet available at this time.

Series of Attacks:

The stabbing in Boston is the latest of a series of brutal attacks on US soil in the past week. Sunday morning, a gunman shot nine people at the University of Illinois campus.

Eight people were shot in Baltimore on Saturday, including a three year-old. Police investigations are still ongoing. However initial reports show that there were three shooters in the attack.

In Burlington, Washington, Arcan Cetin fatally shot five people in a mall on Friday. Cetin was finally arrested a day after the shooting.

Boston Police are currently on a manhunt for the suspect in the stabbing incident and has advised everyone to report any suspicious individual.
