Nov. 24 collision on U.S. Highway 23 hospitalizes 5
PICKAWAY, OH, (November 24, 2024) - A Nov. 24 three-vehicle collision along U.S. Highway 23 in Pickaway County left five people seriously injured.
Davila Fiberto was badly hurt on Nov. 24 in a multi-vehicle accident along U.S. Highway 23 in Pickaway County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reports that a 2003 Toyota Avalon speeding southbound along U.S. 23 traveled onto the shoulder, overcorrected, entered into oncoming traffic, and collided with two northbound vehicles around 2:30 p.m.
A passenger in one of the northbound vehicles, identified as 31-year-old Davila Fiberto, was badly hurt and flown to Grant Medical Center for treatment.
Four other people, including all three drivers involved, were also injured and transported to local hospitals.
The incident remains under investigation.
CRASH INVESTIGATION
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, nearly 2.5 million people were injured in motor vehicle crashes in 2021.
“Road conditions, visibility, and lighting are all possible contributing factors that are considered and require thorough examination,” said Candice Bond, a Managing Partner with Bond Legal.
“An accident reconstruction team is sometimes needed to help piece together what happened. All of these resources are necessary for helping clients receive monetary compensation for damages or a loss following a collision,” said Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney.
PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM
Davila Fiberto may be entitled to an injury claim, and they may seek recovery for damages, including medical expenses, future medical care, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.
“A major injury means that there will be a lot of challenges ahead. Attorneys know how to handle all the legal aspects of a case so a person could focus on healing and moving forward,” Bond, who is also a national legal analyst for Newsline, said.
Bond added, “It doesn’t matter how large an insurance company a victim of a major crash is fighting; an attorney with experience and resources will ensure that the victim's right are protected and injuries are properly compensated.”
